Paddles

OUR GUIDE TO

PADDLES

SAFETY

Practice makes perfect – make sure you are comfortable with your skills before practicing them on your partner.

Even though there is no danger of “wrapping”, like with some spankingproducts, it’s still important to practice technique and learn about paddles to avoid striking out. You can practice striking and techniques on, for example, a pillow. It’s of utmost importance that you don’t strike tailbone, spine, kidneys, head, neck, or joints. Also avoid hitting with the edge of the paddle. Bruises are common after a session with paddles, but cuts and and swellings are rare.

WHAT KIND OF PADDLE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

There are to sensation associated with spanking: stinging, and thudding. The stinging sensation is felt on the surfacearea of the skin, while the thudding sensation is deeper and almost feels like being prodded. Paddles usually give the thudding sensation, but there are paddles that sting as well.

STORAGE AND CLEANING PADDLES

Unlike many other spankingtools, paddles are easy to keep clean. Use a cloth with hot, soapy water and run it over the paddle after each play. We also recommend sterilizing it with toy cleaner. Avoid submerging it in water because it could affect the material over time.
